I'd prefer not to fully describe the details of the infliction which inspired this drawing, so this is up for interpretation.
I'm aware that it's somewhat blurry. You can blame the scan for that, as well as the lack of dark darks and bright whites. Every other flaw can be attributed to my own lack of talent and my extended break from drawing.
I really like this. I love all the different patches of the human face put together, it works well and is very abstract and interesting. Nice detail and shading. I'd add a little shading to the teeth and you're good to go.

Nice work. The skull and muscles look great. The shading is perfect. The eye doesn't seem to match, though. It looks semi-realistic but the shape and shading aren't quite right for it to look real.
